We recommend always submitting your SolidWorks / CATIA part / assembly file(s) when submitting a ticket to our lab, but in some situations an STL may be necessary. Please review Accepted File Types. When creating an STL please follow the steps listed below to ensure optimal STL resolution.
In certain versions of CATIA, the fix below may not apply correctly. If you need even more resolution for your parts because they are small or complicated, please come by the lab and a technician and walk you though the CATIA STL Rapid prototyping work bench and Tessellation tools. Alternatively, simply submit the .CATPart files.
